The 16th film of “RRR” actor Ram Charan, currently titled “RC 16,” was officially unveiled on Wednesday by his father, Telugu film industry superstar Chiranjeevi.
The film dubbed a “rural, emotional, and rustic journey,” will be helmed by Buchi Babu Sana, whose debut film “Uppena” (2021) received the best Telugu-language film award at the Indian National Film Awards. Sana previously worked as a writer and assistant director to “Pushpa” filmmaker Sukumar on the popular film “Rangasthalam” (2018).
“RC 16” is being presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar through his Sukumar Writings, with production handled by Venkata Satish Kilaru for Vriddhi Cinemas. Charan will have Janhvi Kapoor (“Mili”) in the lead role. The music will be by Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman (“Slumdog Millionaire”).

The lyrics for “RRR” will be penned by Chandrabose, the songwriter of the Oscar- and Golden Globe-winning song “Naatu Naatu.” Action choreography is by Supreme Sunder (“Animal”), editing is by Antony L. Ruben (“Jawan”), and cinematography is by R. Rathnavelu (“Rangasthalam”). Avinash Kolla (“Major”), the art director, and Deepali Noor (“Pushpa”), the costume designer, round up the team.
In addition to the cast and crew, prominent figures in attendance at the event included producer Boney Kapoor (“Thunivu”), who revealed his intention to adapt “Uppena” in Hindi, and Sukumar, S. Shankar, who is helming Charan’s upcoming movie “Game Changer.”

Shiva Rajkumar’s comments about Ram Charan and Buchi Babu Sana
The film, which is currently working under the working title RC 16, had its grand premiere this morning in Hyderabad, attended by a wide range of personalities, including members of the cast and crew. Shiva Rajkumar‘s comments regarding the film are making the rounds on social media even though he was unable to attend the event.
The actor recently gave a video interview in which he showed his tremendous respect for Buchi Babu Sana’s narration and stressed how much the director’s portrayal of his role pleased him. He praised Sana’s inventive style and his imaginative storytelling. Shivanna also complimented RamCharan for his acting prowess and kindness.
Today was the Puja Muhurat for RC 16
RC 16 Pooja Ceremony: For the movie RC 16, a puja Muhurat was held, and in addition to the movie, a few celebrities from the South Industry attended. In addition to the movie’s actors and crew, RamCharan’s family was present at the lavish gathering. Upasana, the wife of Ram Charan, and megastar Chiranjeevi were also present at the event. In addition, AR Rahman, the official soundtrack composer for the movie, took part in this occasion.

Jhanvi Kapoor also showed up appropriately attired for the location and event, matching Ram Charan’s appearance in a white shirt and jeans. Here, she was spotted donning a saree in the colour of sea green. The actor’s open white gajra completed her appearance. Janhvi decided to go without makeup. The actor has been trending on Twitter for a while now, and Janhvi Kapoor’s saree quickly became the talk of the town.
About RC 16
Mythri Movie Makers and Buchi Babu Sana are producing the film. “We are glad that the celestial beauty will be joining us for RC 16. The banner read, “Happy Birthday to the captivating Janhvi Kapoor,” and it was displayed on X on the actor’s birthday. She is scheduled to make her Telugu film debut in Devara, with Saif Ali Khan and Jr. NTR. The movie will be released in coming October 2024.
Boney Kapoor had stated in an interview that she had already filmed for a film with Jr NTR, even though she was confirming Janhvi Kapoor’s Telugu film debut. Boney Kapoor, who shared Janhvi Kapoor’s experience, stated that she is having fun making the film and that she would soon begin filming her next film with Ram Charan.
