Virat Kohli Son Birthday: It has come to light that Virat Kohli’s wife Anushka Sharma has given birth to their second child, after their reason for skipping the current Test series against England. The couple named their kid Akaay, and Kohli revealed this information on Instagram. The boy was born on February 15.

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, one of the most loved couples in India, tied the knot in a calm ceremony in Tuscany, Italy on December 11, 2017, winning hearts all over the world. Beyond their captivating love tale, they have been an encouragement to others, sticking with one another through good times and bad, and raising the bar for relationships in the process.

Kohli had withdrawn from the final three Test matches of the 2020–21 Australian tour when he and Anushka were expecting their first child. Ajinkya Rahane had filled in for Kohli as India’s captain for the final three Test matches.

In light of the impending World Cup on June 1, Kohli returned to the T20 team for a series against Afghanistan in mid-January, the last time he played for India.

Virat Kohli Son Birthday: After the announcement, there has been a lot of intrigue surrounding the unique and special name –  Akaay. It is a derivative of the Hindi word ‘kaya’, which means ‘body’. Akaay means somebody more than his physical body. In Turkish origin, the word ‘Akaay’ means ‘shining moon’.

The couple has yet to confirm which origin of the word they thought over before naming the boy.

On social media, the little boy is already gaining a large following. In less than an hour, Virat Kohli’s Instagram post received over five million likes.

Following the news’s announcement, well-wishers from the cricket and entertainment industries overflowed the comment section. In the comments area, actor Ranveer Singh put several ‘evil eye’ and heart emojis. Actor Rakul Preet Singh wrote, “God bless.”

On December 11, 2017, Anushka and Virat got married in Italy. Vamika was bestowed upon the pair on January 11, 2021. The pair kept their second pregnancy a secret.

On his own YouTube account, former South Africa captain AB de Villiers recently disclosed that Kohli and Anushka were expecting their second child.

Earlier, Kohli chose to withdraw from India’s current five-match series against England, claiming personal concerns.

Declaring that he had made a “blunder” in his last video, the former Proteas captain expressed his regret to Kohli.

“Virat Kohli, my friend, is still not available. I beg of you all to grant him the seclusion he so richly deserves. First and foremost, family. Nobody is precisely sure what is happening.
