Traveling with kids can be stressful, so we decided on a taxi for our Lucknow to Ayodhya trip. Best choice we made. The kids had the back seat to themselves, playing games and asking “are we there yet?” every 20 minutes. My wife and I actually got to relax for once. The driver was patient, stopped whenever we needed breaks, and even recommended a clean spot for tea. We reached Ayodhya calm and cheerful instead of worn out. By evening, when we joined the aarti at the Sarayu Ghat, it felt like the day had unfolded just right.
