Culturally responsive after school program empowering Black youth grades 6-12 with STEM education, financial literacy, mentorship, and cultural enrichment. Building sustainable academic pipelines from elementary to college and career readiness. The Village Method (TVM) is a nonprofit youth empowerment and educational charity based in Union City, California, dedicated to uplifting Black youth and families in South Alameda County. Through culturally responsive, Afrocentric programs, TVM builds a cradle-to-college-to-career pathway that nurtures academic success, leadership skills, and strong cultural identity. Services include tutoring, mentoring, college and career readiness, STEM activities, and experiential learning opportunities such as field trips and campus tours. TVM also empowers parents with advocacy tools to navigate the education system and strengthens community ties through events and partnerships.
